Job Description

The Documentation Control Associate IV provides senior-level documentation control and technical

leadership.

 

*This is a rotational 2x2 position located on the North Slope in Alaska*

 

*This position qualifies for the NANA Worley Candidate Referral Program, available only to existing NANA Worley employees*

Responsibilities

  • Creating and/or improving documentation procedures and streamlining across various
  • product teams.
  • Establishing and maintaining consistency of databases, documentation, and corporate
  • processes to ensure quality, design requirements, and environmental compliance.
  • Managing and maintaining as well as analyzing and interpreting the consistency for all
  • documentation and support systems to ensure quality.
  • Following established procedures and formats, researches and compiles technical data for
  • use in routine documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures and
  • specifications.
  • Obtaining data and information from review of documentation, drawings, schematics and
  • reports, consultation with technical staff members.
  • Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit’s success also may be assigned.
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associate's Degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of data and records management experience related to construction or engineering required.
  • Ability to apply extensive knowledge and experience across a wide range of situations.
  • Ability to recommend solutions to complex problems.
  • Performs major accountabilities / carries out main responsibilities of role.
  • Acting as a technical or functional lead coordinating the work of others, but is not a Supervisor.
  • Advanced skillset with Microsoft Office Suite required. Candidates will be required to complete a skills assessment.
  • Advanced skillset with SAP, SharePoint and Bluebeam. 

 

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

 

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral, diagram or schedule form.
